Denise has known since high school exactly what she wanted to do with her life and has been doing it more than twenty years. She graduated from Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida where she worked with several sports teams as a student trainer. She received her B.S. in athletic training from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. In college she worked with women's field hockey, women's gymnastics and football teams. She earned her Masters of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University School of Medicine in 1994.

Denise's first job out of PT school was at the Hughston Sports Medicine Clinic in Columbus, GA.  She worked there for over three years full time in the outpatient clinic while supporting world renowned orthopedic physicians. They helped to provide sports medicine coverage at a variety of community events. Some of these included: satellite clinics, military rugby tournaments, high school wrestling tournaments, semi-professional football games, junior college football, and high school football. She  was a medical volunteer at the Olympics in Atlanta, GA. She has practiced physical therapy in a large variety of settings from outpatient to skilled nursing facility.

Denise enjoys travelling especially back to Florida where she grew up. Most of her free time is spent running her girls to participate in their different activities, but she does get to garden and train her dogs for showing. She is married to her husband, Larry who is an avid outdoorsman.  He can be found fishing or training and hunting with their birddogs. His career with UPS brought them to this area in 2010. She has two beautiful active daughters Kaylee and Stephanie who attend Larue County Schools.
